Laura E. Thudium
Laura received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Centre College in 2013. In 2016, Laura earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She graduated within the top 10% of her class, and therefore was awarded honors including magna cum laude as well as Order of the Coif, as selected by the U.C. law faculty based on academic success. While in law school, she served as the Executive Editor of the Freedom Center Journal and she represented victims of abuse in the Domestic Violence and Civil Protection Order Clinic. Laura also received the Professor Nora J. Lauerman Family Law Prize and the Ernst Karam Outstanding Excellence Award in Advocacy.
Laura joined Beth Silverman & Associates during her first year of law school as a law clerk and has been involved in many different types of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court cases since that time. She became interested in family law during her time at Centre College after taking several psychology and gender studies courses, and her decision to practice family law was solidified during her clerkship.
Laura was admitted to practice law in Ohio in November, 2016. Her goal is to help her clients navigate the complex and sensitive issues they face in a compassionate manner. Laura focuses her practice exclusively on family law in Ohio, practicing in Hamilton, Clermont, Warren, and Butler counties.
