Primary focus and experience

Navigating a family law issue can oftentimes feel confusing and scary. My goal in each of my cases is to put my clients’ minds at ease by offering strong legal advice and a listening ear so they can make an informed decision that is right for their families. I care deeply about people’s stories, and no two stories or experience with family law issues are the same. I am passionate about utilizing my professional experience to help clients navigate through their family law issues while focusing on the individual goals and priorities of each client, ensuring that each client’s unique story is kept front and center in their case.

During law school, I prioritized taking courses and being involved in academic extracurriculars and internships that focused on helping people. My desire to have my career be people-centric led me to serve as an editor for the University of Cincinnati Immigration and Human Rights Law Review and work as a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project.

My goal of practicing in a field that focused on helping people led me to Family Law, and I subsequently pursued growing my career with Beth Silverman & Associates, a long-established Family Law firm in Cincinnati. I have worked exclusively in Family Law since 2021 when I began clerking at Beth Silverman & Associates, and I take pride in having the opportunity to practice in an area of law that can make such an impact for someone as they go through such a difficult and unknown time in their lives.

Since beginning my work in Family Law, I have been determined to immerse myself in the practice area. I am currently an active member in professional Family Law groups, including the Domestic Relations committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals. My commitment to this practice has resulted in being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in my first and second year of practice.

I believe that in most instances, resolving family law issues out of court is the most efficient way to accomplish positive results. Through settlement, it is possible to create solutions that take into consideration the unique circumstances of each case. However, I understand that it is not always possible to reach an agreement out of court. In such cases, I am prepared to utilize my litigation skills to advocate zealously for my clients.
